Cancer My Teacher

Tami Palumbo, wife and mother of five, has been battling breast cancer for almost seven years. Now the doctor has just informed her that the cancer has already invaded her liver, and that she may have only two weeks left to live. Read Tami’s testimony to the world, in her own words, as she shares the most precious lessons God has taught her as she faces the possibility that her journey with cancer may be coming to an end.

Cancer’s Unexpected Blessings

Commentator and broadcaster Tony Snow was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2005. Following surgery and chemotherapy, Snow joined the Bush administration in April 2006 as press secretary. One year later Snow, 51, a husband and father of three, announced that the cancer had recurred, with tumors found in his abdomen—leading to another surgery followed by more chemotherapy. In this article Snow shares some spiritual lessons he has learned through the ordeal. Snow subsequently succumbed to cancer on July 12, 2008.
